Not only is our house the perfect venue for avid mountaineers and professional rockclimbers as there are many cablecars in the nearby vicinity opening doors to all surrounding mountain peaks. Available in-house are all hiking maps which are accompanied by excellent hiking tips from the boss personally. An unforgettable experience for both young and old!
The surrounding cable cars, gondola lifts and chair lifts will take you to the beautiful mountains of South Tyrol and you can climb many a summit or mountain peak with the hiking tips from our boss Helena. You are welcome to borrow various hiking maps from us.
Hiking holiday in South Tyrol
In the area surrounding Lana is the Vigiljoch mountainside, inspiring grown-up hikers as well as little ones. Whether you want to get to know the local mountain Vigiljoch, hike the picturesque, unspoilt Ulten Valley or experience the Texel Group with the famous Merano High Mountain Trail, you can plan your mountain route together with the manager.
Bike holidays in South Tyrol
There is also an exciting programme for cyclists and mountainbikers in the area. Starting directly from our house are many cycling routes going through the fruit plantations and vineyards which you can enjoy on your own bicycle or on one of our in-house bicycles. There are cycling routes which cover an extensive area starting from the Reschen Pass down to Trento and even further!
One of the most loved routes is that which takes you from Mals all the way down to the city of Meran. This entails a breathtaking train ride which brings you up to the last village in South Tyrol bordering Switzerland, and from here you are able to hire a bicycle or tandem and ride along the meandering Etsch river all the way down to Meran. Should you not wish to do the whole route downwards, the option is yours. All you have to do is hand in the hired cycle at the next station on your way down and continue the journey home by train!
Relax by the pool
But our house is not only a magnet for the sporty... for those who wish to spend a peaceful relaxed holiday, you can while away the hours soaking up the sun on one of our loungers amidst the perfume of flowers and herbs in the flair of our Mediterranean garden. Let your soul come to peace in our refreshing whirlpool, or enjoy swimming in our heated pool or just lying sipping a delicious cocktail on our sundeck! Or why not enjoy an icecream or cappuccino on our sunny panoramic terrace with its dynamic view over the Tschöggelberg.
